CERT SPECIAL OPERATIONS

CERT Special Operations is an elite team composed of members of the Scott County CERT Team. Members of Special Ops have completed the 19 hour basic certification course and also have been provided with advanced training that allows them to be deployed to situations throughout the county.

These members have shown dedication to the team as well as their community.

CERT Special Ops members can be recognized by the High Visibility uniforms they wear and their willingness to be called day or night to assist. They are a valuable asset to EMA/OHS response.

CERT Orientation Finally going to happen!!

It seems the severe weather of recent weeks is finally going to subside and let us have our meeting. Plan to arrive by 7pm so we can get all the necessities taken care of and get this academy started.

CERT Academy begins 02/23/10

After two cancellations due to severe winter weather the CERT Academy is now scheduled to begin on February 23, 2010... If there is inclement weather on the 23rd then the meeting will be moved to March 2, 2010.

Meeting tonight, 01/12 at 6:30pm. Please try to attend.

Orientation Meeting Postponed

Orientation Meeting for CERT Academy will be February 23 at 7:00 pm. This is of course dependent on the snow ever stopping in central KY. See you next week
